From our deck you can see a sandbank not far from the buoy I went out to yesterday. The tides are ideal at the moment, timed for mid morning, no wind and sunshine. So I got the snorkel out and went searching for that sandy patch. Navigating thru bush is one thing but trying to find something in the water is a whole different go seek game. I did find some clearer spots and maybe it looks a lot different close up and underwater. In any case there was no fish to be seen. On the way back there were rays and I observed one on the hunt trying to snuffle something out of the sand.
