Aldous Huxley was a thinker. I can imagine him sitting down with his chin on his hand, thinking about stuff. He was thinking so hard he wondered what was at the back of his mind and he tried drugs, hypnosis, meditation and even chanting to see if he could get back there. Brave New World was a book on every school list but this one is something else. This book examines ways of communicating without talking. In that psychedelic time frame of the 60's, the Doors named their band from this book title. Another rocknroll claim to fame is that his picture appeared on the cover of Sgt Peppers. Maybe thinkers have too much time on their hands. He would have been a good devotee of pictionary. No talking just drawing.
I didn't know that about the band. How interesting!
