It turned out the perfect beach day even if the tide was way out. Estelle had some quiet play and some fairy garden play before lunch then we made our way across to the beach. It was fairly deserted at first around 1:00pm but by the time we left at 4:00pm there were more arriving. It was like the Bluey beach walk book was being re-enacted except it was swans instead of pelicans. The mermaid tail was there, the seagulls were there and even the side ways crab. The water was very still and a bit seagrassy but Estelle still made it into the shallows.
