Haven't been back to the old faithful beach since last year. We have gotten used to a quiet beach with no waves. This was full on wave action and a local surfer came passed us and got swamped so he resignedly took his board and went home. We were there for lunch but had to co-ordinate with the Taylors (the Melbourne Taylors that is) who were making their way from Lorne and getting to our place by 2:30pm. We had a few drinks for lunch then we had a few more woth the Taylors during the catchup. Mostly ailments were discussed and Grandies.
