More phone wrangling

A few years back we setup the commonwealth bank mobile phone payment method mainly as another way to pay when we were overseas.  So we haven't given much attention to the newer Google Pay and Samsung Pay systems.  I went to the supermarket today but left my wallet at home. So I had to do the whole thing twice including getting stuff out of the fridge area, as when I went to retrieve the wallet from home they had put those things back into their fridge.  This afternoon I have been wrestling with Samsung Pay. As a rule, I use a debit card at the supermarket and the very first card I try to add is not recognised by their system. It seems I have to convert it to a specific mastercard type of debit card, which will take 10 days to be delivered.  So I then added the credit card with no trouble, so if I have left the money at home in future, I can still pay using the phone.
