The last couple of days we have been driving a lot in traffic between Williamstown and Albert Park then over to Nth Melb and eventually escaping back to Geelong. We had to use Footscray Rd a couple of times as there were breakdowns on the WestGate. This gave a chance to see the Cycling Super Highway, a new green tube above the old Footscray Rd yet suspended below the new elevated Footscray Rd. I used to ride along there and it was just a path on the right, with a few roadways to cross going into the Port container yards. You would not recognise these areas if you had not been there for five years like me.
