Some yar ago we took fallen stagferns to the Orchid man for remounting. This was something he did and in a timely manner. We took two more last year and now after 9 months we have gotten them back in a more neglected state but at least well mounted on solid new backboards. One in particular needed more delicate work. It seems originally it was on a pole and had a circular canal running down through it. This needed major surgery to be broken out and flattened in segments. He said he was sorry for the delay but was running three businesses by himself and don't bring any more stagferns to him for mounting. We had already figured that out.
