Due to our absences, the groundsman at Willie has been mowing our patch in the backyard. We have decided to take more advantage of this by removing most of the weedy unattended beds that are constantly over grown. Some of the plants have died as well. Debbie is mostly tending the rose bushes and has moved the orchids to the front. I have dug out two plants and removed some garden ornaments that were decorated with fanned stone patterns. The previous owners did their thing and we left it for two years but has slowly deteriorated. No doubt when there is time, this will get the Debbie treatment.
