I must have spent 6 months getting some trips happening in May and June this year and now I have spent the last three days trying to undo it all. I have never had the unpleasure of going thru this procedure before and it involves a different pressure. The international trip has insurance and the first thing they say is to claw back what you can and then come to us and bring the paperwork. I am still waiting for an official letter from the doctors but had to start the cancellation as the cruise penalty amount was going to double if the cruise was not cancelled before yesterday and the insurance people would not be happy. There is also the possibility of credit card insurance needing to be applied as well. This is going to take some sorting. Not what I would call a retirement hobby.
