The Afghan

Freddie Forsyth is a bit of a master at these types of thrillers.  This one uses all the actual history of  real events leading up to 9/11 but he puts in his own version of a disaster.  Not a bad read.  Too many bystanders are knocked off for my liking but I'm not the writer.  The bad guys never seem to get the same pain they dish out either.  I am scratching around for something to read now as I have some  stories where multiple volumes are needed and I may not have them all.  I might have to start using the library.  I am going to take a box load to the 2nd hand shop to make some space.
