Diamond Head

We took the OutRigger trolley bus on its loop around Waikiki. The Diamond Head Crater was only 20 minutes away. The trick is to walk to the top and back before the next loop of the trolley.  The crowds were ridiculous. It's only 1.5 km up but it is a continuous stream of people.  The views from the top are extensive.  The way up  is via old WWII tunnels and staircases.  We made it back down with five minutes to spare.
