Beach Engineering

Before we went away a big storm washed away part of our beach again. Numerous attempts have been made to get the diversion right where the water moves down the spillway not across the beach. This must be engineering attempt No 25 but give them credit, they are not giving up. The idea now is to place an artificial concrete bank in front of the natural overflow channel thus blocking the way. We shall see.  Since I was down at the beach I went for my swim despite the stiff breeze.  I think I was more blown thru the water than swimming it. I did extract another golf ball and two pieces of glass.
