After visiting Aunty Patty we had lunch at Sandridge Beach. This is a spot we used to go to from Essendon. There is a huge cruise ship parked there at the moment. We have seen it there before and is using Port Melbourne as its Summer base on 10 day trips around New Zealand. On the way back we went to the Sandy Point reserve. There is a trail there we have not walked before going right out to the start of the Yarra. There is also a seat with good views of passing boat traffic.
