For the first two months there was a speck that may have been something then there was slow growth. In the last month there has been quick growth and then one night the cauliflower flowered. It literally sprang apart into separate flowered stalks. We left it alone as it was greenish. Heidi says that it will still be suitable for cauliflower soup. Things always seem to taste better when you have grown it yourself. Yesterday was a good soup day as the 30 hours of rain finally finished. Today was a rearrangement of the garden beds. Stripping out all the leftover Winter growth and moving the strawberry patch to a new location. So with an indoor and an outdoor patch we should soon be rolling in strawberries.
