Dog Day Afternoon
The Romans sacrificed a dog at the start of Summer believing it would ease the hot sultry days. They called it the Dog Day Afternoon. Nowadays it means lounging around on a sunny afternoon like dogs sleeping it off, which we did today from 2:00pm til 4:00pm. During that time two dogs came charging along. For the first one we didn't see an owner but the dog had moved off before they eventually arrived from the Dell. The second dog owner got into a big argument with another dog owner who was telling him off for not having it on a leash. He gets away from them and then the same dog charges at us as well, so we start having a go at him too but I think by this stage he was already worked up so he started getting threatening before he eventually walked off. His dog crapped on the beach and he said he would leave it there as a present for us. So the moral is don't argue with a dog walker or you will be left with the barker's eggs. (I have a poo trowel on hand).

He was a bully! Punched his fist in his hand in a threating way saying, in no unsertain terms, that he would punch us in the face if we touched his bitch (dog). Completely disrespectful. Put me off for quite a while. Thankfully he didn't return.
