People talk about green olives and black olives but I can tell you they are the same, some are more ripe than others. I know this because I spent two hours yesterday and another hour today picking olives off our tree. Twisting around up ladders is a muscle stiffening exercise. I picked over 20 kilograms of olives. We had this idea from the neighbour about a woman who will make olive oil from your olives for a fee. However we just found out she will take no less than 200 kilos of olives. Even if we had kept our other olive tree we would not be able to make that quota. Anyone want some olives?
