Double Star

I am waiting for a delivery of books so I picked a slim volume which was the Hugo for 1956.  This guy is the first SciFi author I ever read.  Double Stars are a real cosmic occurrence but better known as Binary Stars. Good old RH was having a laugh, as this book is about an actor who stars as a body double for the leader of the universe.  Not the best subject matter for a Hugo but in 1956 there may have not been many nominees.
