TDF Carcassone

Yesterday the Tour De France rolled into Carcassone and stayed overnight.  It is a walled town that has been dressed up over the years for the tourists.  We visited there in 2010, the first time we went over to Europe.  It is tight inside.  You have to leave your car outside in a paddock and grab what you can fit into a small bag. The hotels send out a small car with only enough room to hold a backpack on your lap.  This is becuase the car has to squeeze thru a 13th century arch designed for a horse.  Most people leave at the end of the day, so the overnighters get it to themselves.  It was a good thing to do but not so easy.
