One Night Stand

 There must be at least twenty books that I could see with this title but I reckon this is the only one that hints at comedy at least before you read the story that is. If you are a professional comedian and your work is drying up because of the stupid COVID then what can you do with your time. Write a book. This one has some funny stuff and is almost too close to the truth in places. To me writing a joke is harder than writing a poem or song lyrics.  Those can be funny but a joke needs that punch line.  Have you heard the one about

The Rogainer and the Cartographer walking down the street. A guy comes up to them and goes "I'm lost, can you help me with directions?"  Incredulous, they look at each other pointing "North is that way."   

I thought it was funny.  We have four copies of Simon Taylor's book  here and somewhere along the way we have to get them signed before we can give them out.
