We have not had the 5km rule here in the previous two lockdowns but if you want to max out the ride distance in a single circuit then you can still ride 41km and not exceed the 5km rule.  Of course we are on the edge of the water so the possible distance comes back to 26km unless we switch to those paddling water bikes for the other half of the circle.  As it turns out our regular Drysdale circuit of 18km or so was already inside the 5km boundary.  This shutdown business is not so hard, except maybe if you have booked to go to QLD next week.
