We have been having this running battle with a nesting pair of birds. They have been keen to set up shop just next to the front door and this has been going on for two weeks. It is Spring time and bird nesting season and the tree fern is just too tempting. Every time you open the front door there is a burst of wing flapping and feather dropping as they bolt. We curled up some gutter guard but that did not work. So now purpose designed spiky lengths have been strategically placed. So far so good.
