Computer Glitches

For some reason an XBOX game console tried to take over my computer screen.  I was able to easily stop it with the normal exit. It came back a second time and I had to exit out of  three or four different windows.  I ran the Antimalware freebie I have had for years but they are now forcing you to buy it after a two week trial.  It found no problems. I then ran the Trend Micro, which I pay for, but it wanted to remove the trial Antimalware first. So after several reboots I now have the latest Trend Micro minus the other trial stuff. Again there were no threats found. The one thing I did do different this morning, was to select NEWS from the Microsoft startup button.  The NEWS seems to be bad from the start button at least.
