We had one last go to clear the boxes this morning. I have already sent copies of this archive, as scanned digitalia, however the original source material was kept. So between brisk walking sessions and restaurant lunches and morning brunches there was a final 2 hour effort to divide and conquer. In the end there were seven major piles and three lesser piles and a bin full of photos and frames. Now we still have to bag it and tag it and send it on its way. There is still the matter of the musings, memoirs, scribbles, the writings and the notes, which permeated all the boxes, folders, drawers and envelopes. I have scanned a huge amount of these papers so far but another large batch was uncovered. A lot has been done and we had Julie's fruit cake to keep us going.
