SagaLand

 I was reading about two Australians born in Iceland who met here and decided to go back and write a book.  The sagas are a series of 1000 yar old written stories about families in Iceland. I am not sure if I was expecting anything different to the Vikings show from some years back. The same approach to settling disputes is there, like using an axe first then pay for the damage later.  I kept getting stuck on the names of not just the people but the places as well. This book came from the Drysdale library so the system worked this time. Sagaland says Irish monks were the first to go to Iceland and mostly froze in caves. The first vikings arrived after them.
