We stopped off here on the way back from Bendigo. Last century we walked this area in great detail. Back then we stopped at the Springs for a checkpoint and a taste of the water. It has some interesting flavours. I always said I would come back with a better bottle. Some months back there was a flood here which damaged the baths, the taps and the troughs. So it has been closed for months but we went in anyway to find a plumber still trying to clean out all the infrasructure. He says there is still no water to be had but it should be open in another month or so once they get the pipes flowing again.
