We were in the car again today but did not travel too far. There are numerous beaches along the way to Point Vernon but it is only 15km along. There are striated rock formations there folded like cardboard. For a while we thought there was a wrecked boat but it was just the rocks. We moved along to Torquay for lunch and at last used the umbrella that I carried in my luggage. The tide does not recede as far here. We went into the Pirate's Cave (Trash & Treasure) and got a few children's books as well as a new pair of reef boots each as the old ones are worn out.
