It is a calmer day so far so I decided to spend some more time in the olive tree. Large deliveries have been made already but there are still plenty of berries on the tree. It seems that once Autumn has arrived the olives will not get any bigger but they will ripen no matter what size they are. So I am not being as choosy with this lot. Anythng I can reach I am picking. The total for an hour or so was 5 kilograms this morning. The trick is to get a good purchase and is similar to rock climbing, always have three points anchored before you move a fourth.
