We are having trouble embracing the minimalist approach that you need in the unit/flat/small house mind set. Therefore to increase the space available we have installed the Toilet Bowl Maximiser (TBM). Now you may think that this is to cater for a larger bum or a larger production but no it is for storage of toiletry related items. However in surrounding the bowl with a shelf we have blocked access to the flushing buttons. Maybe we can just have a bucket of water permanently nearby and tip it in as required. Also the TBM is a wooden framework that presses into your back as you try to settle into your favourite position on the bowl. In any case there will now be a handy place to store extra paper if disaster strikes.
