One of the other problems in being away is the yard areas starting to look like a carpet of dead flowers. At least the green bin was empty before we filled it up. The weeds were as high as the fence out the back. Also the produce was being ignored, like strawberries and lemons. There are at least 20 lemons out front now for the passing brigade and the strawberry plants have now been properly netted. The neighbour used to be payed to mow grass and he could not help himself when it started to sprout bushes so he mowed it all. Conditions are ripe for mozzies. We moved a few large pot plants and clouds of bugs rose up each time.
