Torquay

Went for an outing to Torquay this morning. It was a packed agenda, first of all detouring to the rock quarry to buy 12 pinkish rocks. These no doubt will be dusted, placed, shifted then balanced to wall off a garden plot. Next we moved on to the Torquay ocean beach.  We continued our walk preparations by doing another 3km cliff top walk around to Jan Juc and back. Sunday mornings are busy for walkers. We were promised sunshine but the clouds came and they also did some spitting on us.  After that it was back to Ocean Grove. There is a specialist podiatry shoe store where the staff are training as podiatrists. So now I have new runners/walkers for the training walking campaign. No excuses.  We crossed the road to the Kyosk cafe for a light lunch. We have used this place before and shared corn fritters however the service is a bit slow. Still a tasty lunch.
