I went back out to the 'Anchor' that I found yesterday. Another ideal beach day for walking not for swimming, although we did venture out into the water for 50 metres. The tide is low so whatever it was is protruding at low tide. I have not noticed this before. There is a series of metal pieces covered in marine growth, most likely an old boat that has run aground and never recovered. Back over on the Collendina side there was a car that we could see from time to time and further down the beach there was a huge funnel that uncovered every so often. All good fun now but not when disaster struck.
