HA Mallaby

I do not know HA Mallaby.  I do have a box that arrived last week that was most probably his. He was interested in stamps and kept a lot of envelopes during his life but never got the stamps off of them. But that does leave behind a detailed trail, so if you are ever security conscious, destroy the envelopes as well. I can tell you he lived on a farm as a youth in a suburb of Griffith called Lake Wyangan.  He went to the Forestry School in Canberra and later became the Secretary of the Riverina Philatelic Society in the late 1950's.  This is gleaned just from the envelopes and there are a lot more. I am cutting most of them up but I have kept a few in totality. I put these details down here because I have thrown those parts away. There are also the aerograms. These have the complete letter still attached and were all sent from aboard the 'Strathaird' a P&O Liner in 1959.
