I went across with my snorkel gear but did not use it as the water was quite murky with some floating grass. A Northerly breeze means a reasonable temperature but stirs up the water. I did go in for a full immersion just for a bit of a soak and some water jogging, so the water temperature is still doable if I went for the full swim. The engineers have been down again fixing a hole that was created some months back when the creek over flowed. Their timing is a bit slow since it has been like that for most of the beach season.
