Back Roads Outing

Went for a drive along some roads we haven't seen.  A lot of it was industrial but foreshore industrial. We did see all the new works being done to switch the Tassie ferry from Port Melbourne to Geelong. It looks like a new terminal is being built and associated car parking, queue lanes etc.  We continued on to the grounds of Geelong Grammer. Now that is your grand school with a long history. Just looking at the cricket ground and old style grand stand pavilion gives you that idea.  We continued further and went passed the grimy stuff like a burnt out truck and a police crime scene investigation. Not all that scenic. There was also a yacht club a bit further along Hovell's creek.  We had time to get lunch at the Pelican's Landing.

The new owner must be the one in the comfy chair.
