This beach is a few minutes drive from our house and we spied a good snorkel track to try. The so called storms never really came this way. There was a bit of spity rain and this morning it is hot and no clouds. We took the snorkel gear and was in the water at 9:00am. We took our time floating and paddling along a 200 to 300 metre course. The highlight was the huge kelp beds we drifted across. There were some fish amongst it and blue starfish. Our old friends the plovers have been roped off on some parts here as well.
