Got out on the bike at around 9:30 this morning. There is a bit of mud around especially near the rail trail at the Drysdale station. It looks like the upgrades on the train works are full steam ahead which means the bike trail is blocked, as the extra tracks will cover it. Not sure what that means for the trail after the upgrade, hopefully a new alignment. The other new bike track has now opened along Griggs Creek but it is mostly empty housing lots. Once these and other existing estates are built out there is meant to be no more new housing estates on the Bellarine Peninsula according to the distinctive areas and landscapes program that has been declared here.
