Kings in Grass Castles

This is quote from Patrick Durack when challenged about becoming a cattle king and hogging huge tracts of land but he replied if he was, it was in a grass castle that could all blow away in the next drought.  When you read this book you will never complain about your lifestyle ever again.  These guys always decided to move to harder and harder country. Just when they were getting on top they would move to the back of Bourke, then even farther out at the top of WA.  His Australian life was from 1853 to 1898 and in that time brought so many relatives to Australia that it was like a little Ireland in the West of QLD.  It became a huge dynasty that still continues.  The books were made into a TV series in 1998, I have two left to read.
