It is meant to be a recovery day today however the cloud cleared and the breeze dropped to a stillness, so we got on the bikes in the afternoon. It coincided with school pickup time so where the bike paths cross the school zones is tricky. They escapees sprawl out over the paths. There is a lot of riding to school here which seemed to disappear in Essendon. There was one kid who was determined to race and flew past us going downhill. This was on a road section as well. We stopped for a photo shoot on some high ground. The boat ramps are always busy.
