The 4hr ferry crossing was straight forward. The highlight would be the Border Shop. Now if you are coming into or out of Australia then two bottles of grog is the max. Not so here. I saw one guy loading his car so full he had to send some back. There were two crates of bourbon, 10 slabs of beer, two boxes of champagne and numerous boxes of chocolate. And if you are just a poor old pedestrian, well never fear as they have special trolleys just for you.
We reached Malmo around 6:00pm but it took two hours to workout how to park. No phasements! The hotel did not have enough spaces so we were sent to a car park where the ticket machine would not take our cards. Then we scouted around for a space in the main square and here the ticket machine worked ok.

I bought three blocks of Toblerone |
This was the biggest #nophasements moment so far. Being given advice from the reception to park our car 10 minutes walk away from the hotel turned out to be wrong. You can only use Swedish credit cards. We walked to and from that car park THREE TIMES until we worked out what to do and eventually moved the car to the square. Turns out the square is also expensive and we moved the car the next day to the undercover carpark at the hotel. Lots of deep breathing necessary today.
