Able was I ere I saw Elba
This may be the longest palindrome ever and I happen to be on Elba. I think Napoleon claimed this sentence as his own, after all he did have a lot of time to think things over. We travelled ok from Florence via a 1hr ferry to Portoferraio. We are at Villa Ottone. We just hung around the villa today and will check out some of the scenery tomorrow.

The service here was 7 star. Nothing too much trouble. Lunch on the first day the waiter brought out a huge platter of gresh fish and a live lobster to choose from. We opted for a smaller meal of fish pieces. I asked for a half bottle of chardonnay. Then each time we came to the pool he remembered the drink I ordered and brought it over to our lounges in a bucket of ice. There were other things as well. That's service.
