German Domes

Must have set a new record for sight seeing today. Started with the Reichstag where we converted our internet appointment from 1:00 pm to 9:00 am. We used the extra time to see the Altes Museum then the National Gallery. We were warned off the Pergamon Museum due to lack of air conditioning and the current renovations which is causing havoc inside. Had a proper sit down lunch with lots of fluid which meant we could tackle the Cathedral. This is a spectacular spot where we kept climbing higher and higher inside the dome and then emerged outside the dome. The Germans love their domes!

  1. Weather reached 37°and was reportedly 50+in the Pergamon museum with people fainting. Good choice not to go in there. Loved Berlin.
