We made it to Lorne with various road closures like thru Deans Marsh, so had to detour around those with various fires burning further West. It was all calm in Lorne and we are revisiting a hotel we used some 20 yar ago when the Anaconda adventuring was all the go. The Mantra is the same hotel we used back then and this room has a great balcony with sea views. We spent the afternoon across at the beach in sublime conditions. Along the way we saw three world tour teams going for training rides, as the Surf Coat Classic races are starting here tomorrow.
