Afternoon Session

 The thing is to find activities that might last a half hour. If you can get 30 mins then that is a winner. We got a good one going when a bird was spotted in the apricot tree. Sure enough the inside of one apricot was being sucked dry.  So we fashioned some netting into pockets and tried a zoned approach to keeping the birds out. The grandies were in charge of pegs and had to pass those up when needed.  Back inside we tried table tennis (too hard) water play (too much of a cool wind) and finally indoor bike riding which worked reasonably well considering Charlie's bike was completely flat in both wheels. I could not get a pump to fit the tiny opening and six different pumps were tried. What I need is the original barrelled pump with a flexible hose attached. He rode it anyway and when the garage was included, watch out.
