The title gives a clue to this whodunnit about including a strong bird flavour. It seems that the author had some bird experiences in her youth and has now used that as a theme for a murder yarn. This series of books is slightly different to the Vera style. The two slueths here are elderly types who couldn't run to save themselves. I don't think I will revisit these guys again. The story is slow, in keeping with the amateurs who doddle along as well. Some how the bad guy is caught without the police having a clue either. AHH!
