I have read of photographers sitting all day long waiting for weather and light. We had ideas of getting some shots at sunset. There were possibilities of the You Yangs that way and I liked a yacht going the other way, all with the Sun in the background and pylons in the foreground. But you needed to go in the water. And with the hazards of failing light and rocks and wet you might slip. Hopefully these photos were worth it.
I used to take off the same amount of skin playing football. In those days there was no manicured park like surface to play on. Every week you would lose skin on jagged dried mud beds all the way down the centre corridor from goal to goal.
