Beach Report

We had a very windy storm three days back which made it into the local papers here. Some houses were damaged and a caravan completely rolled and smashed. We saw it for ourselves on our last ride with some houses on the hilltop at Curlewis having tarpaulins on the roofs now.  The Sun has come out so I went to check the damage on the beach.  The tide was out and a red tinge is in the water, almost tannin like.  The beach now has a gouge line all the way along and there is a 10 metre swathe of sea grass where sand used to be.  I dare say it will smooth out and the grass will disperse but it will take a while. At least the diversion works held up.
