Not sure exactly what the goal is for the beach clearance but they are targeting larger trees at the edge of the sand. They seem to be leaving the ever present salt bush alone. So the jungle is being hacked back and the cut trunks left insitu but with poisonous paste coated on the cut marks. The cut brush may be left to whither a bit but hopefully not for too long. The surrounds of our rock seat has been severely cleared back and I am not sure if this is good or bad. We will have to wait for Summer.
