May Day Olive Day

 I was going to mow lawns early but Debbie had a recording session scheduled so I went up the olive tree instead.  I have perfected the technique a bit more to include carrying an over the shoulder knapsack but worn at the front. This can hold 4 or 5 kilos before you might want to empty it.  I had a look at portable tree shakers but the problem is collecting the olives as we have many obstacles underneath, including walls and a pond.  Those olive eating Taylor's should try to get here this week as I am trying to get the whole thing picked over and finished by the weekend.  When it came to the lawn mowing I could not start the mower. I am not sure if it was the mower or my fingers as I could hardly grip the pull cord after two hours in the tree.  It is a good start with 7 kilos of olives in the fridge.
