Lethal White

 I have read the first three Whodunnit books by JK Rowling some yar ago and then watched those three made into a TV series.  The detective is ungainly with his one leg. He does not chase after too many crooks that's for sure.  It has taken me all Summer to get thru this particular one, all 776 pages of it. The storyline is complex, with many characters and comings and goings, as well as dead people whose actions in the past, affect the story in the present.  I daresay these have made it to TVland as well but I still have three more of these books to go, so I don't want to look for any TV versions as yet. It is a good read but I refuse to take notes while reading a novel, unlike these two investigators who write down everything in order to crack the case.
