Beach Ramble No758

I took the snorkel over early but there was a lot of disturbed floaties in the water after the wind the other day. I settled for scanning the sand for stuff,  up and back along the waterline.  The usual couple of bottles, rope pieces, butts and small plastics. The unusual one this time was a cage. It reminded me of the small cage that I saw once which used to house a cricket. You have to be an eccentric to have a pet cricket and Salvador Dali was certianly that. It was hanging in his beach house at Port Lligat in Spain.  It will take some hunting to find a photo. I do have this cage though.

not sure what this is for and seems slightly encrusted

found this photo from 14 yar ago
